Thanks. Peeves and I managed to get another 35 today by going through Muttontown preserve and Stillwell preserve. It was a loooong caching day.

I totally recommend caching in both of those preserves. We had a blast. I squatted down on one knee so many times that day to sign logs that I think I pulled a muscle. no literally

ditto regarding being too busy to cache lately. I may have to quite my job if I think I am going to get to 1000 by year's end. But if I do that I have no way to pay for gas!!

Oh you noticed! Thanks. It only took 239 finds, we used to joke that it's the geocaching equivalent of Derek Jeter's quest to get a grand slam

While on this thread we'll congratulate Paladin8 for his 400th find! In a weird way, he helped contribute to our first FTF! The cache was a geocoin bank on the Pelham/Bronx border and we had just put the 2 geocoins in our possession into our own new TB hotel/geocoin bank hide in Ardsley. So we decided to first go to his new "Seven and Seven" hide elsewhere in Pelham and grab the geocoin to trade at this new cache. We were lucky and just made it, it appears biffgnar drove up to find it just as we were getting out to find it.

I don't believe he's on here (met him at the Proto Picnic yesterday, or actually, before, but note that in another thread, he says he's "not a forum person"), but congrats to Dog and Bear for his 1000th find! I believe mmacgown placed a couple of Long Island caches in honor of this feat!
