... Brett PS - If you're interested in volunteering on April 30th rather than playing, that is totally cool too - we could use the help. Just let me know!

If you had a week to do geocaching....

... There are many GC opportunities in a 20 mile circle so it's a good jumping off point for a day of GC. (once you leave downstate, nearby caches could mean 10 miles!) Anyway, I am looking for a Letterboxer. Anyone know someone? I thought about Harry Dolphin and Andy Bear but I see they only have ...

Re: Electricity and Caches

While I enjoy the occaisonal LPC, it does seem very plausible to have those happening more often than they do- I think Geocaching.com could possibly ban them within the next 5 years, and some other type of popular parking lot hide will become more typical, and become the "new LPC". ...

Re: mygeocachingprofile.com acquired by Groundspeak

... will they take away where you have it as part of your basic profile (which would make sense since anyone looking at a profile could just click on the "statistics" tab)? And if so, will you still have the ability to customize it (i.e. putting in FTF's, etc., or purposely ...

Creative Caches L&S post

http://blog.geocaching.com/2010/12/crea ... ound-video

Wow! Some of the caches in the video looked really fun and interesting. I think I'm going to try something similar.

Also, maybe we could add that as a category for our own awards, "Most Creative Cache"?

Re: Do you think Opencaching is actually bad for Groundspeak

I noticed it says "import existing hides and finds".....do they mean from GC.com? If that is true/possible, that could really make it a threat (but I imagine if that is what it is it would spark a lawsuit so it probably isn't.....). As I noted in another thread in here, I ...

... mechanism, etc., there are things to keep you there like all your history, the GC social network, familiarity, a HUGE database, and so on. I couldn't see starting over at a new site with all that entails, and personally I don't have any issues with GC.com. Sure there are occasional quirks ...

How to contact a reviewer?

... TMP Quest caches had this problem- but the final had one part, that is a question-to-answer (basically a plaque, that using the information, you could determine the next coordinates with the cache page) and the fact that it is a challenge cache. Is it not OK to have your cache containing information ...
