Re: Bridges, "Rock and Roll" (GC19FHX), "Handy Relief" (GC19NF1)

... getting approved by these "old school" throwback sites. People should check out terracaching.com and navicache.com and see if there's something there that they like. C-Ville, I'm intrigued by your cache ideas that have been shot down, I'm shooting you a private message now.

Re: Bridges, "Rock and Roll" (GC19FHX), "Handy Relief" (GC19NF1)

Re: Child Waypoints

I've never heard the term "child waypoint" before - although I've got a sense for it from context, in case I'm missing something could you tell me more about what it means?

Re: New iPhone and Geocaching

... area would pose a big problem. The unit knows where you are but might not be able to really show you where you are on a map, unless I'm missing something. - That said, a program did get released today in the iTunes store called Geopher Lite that is the first caching program for the iPhone that ...

... that design into production... It was his idea from last year and I'd hate for us to wind up inadvertently pilfering it. Maybe make sure it's something he's not already doing?

Re: Coin Poll

... (FYI, the pre-sale price of $6 is a buck or so above our costs, so we don't need to pre-sell the whole 250 to be able to afford the minting costs. Something in the neighborhood of 200 coins would do it. And I'm sure we'd be comfortable going a little out of pocket at the start if we fall a little ...

Re: Check you cache logs

Noticed something strange tonight. Got a log notification from a cacher claiming a Found It for Bridges & Arches, back on March 10th. But I just checked the cache a few days ago and there was no physical log from anyone for ...

Re: Whatever happened to....

... block new and future caches. Cache turnover can be a great thing. For starters, when an area opens up it gives new cache owners a chance to hide something, and it gives other cachers in the area a chance to hunt for something new. I was very glad when NYA archived "Titanic". The CO ...

For volunteers, the schedule would look something like this: Friday, August 28th 2:30pm - local cachers get some orientation info, and disperse in pairs to hide temporary caches for the game ...

Re: The Necessity of Signing the Log

In a way I think the way this guy is logging ...

Washington APE Cache archived

... course there was Special Mission: PLANET OF THE APES Premiere! (GC1168) that was in Central Park! I can't imagine trying to get away with hiding something that big in Central Park. (And that sentiment proved more or less true, as it only got 4 finds before disappearing a couple of weeks later.) ...
