Re: Cache archived due to bomb scare

... that the authorities have been called out, and if that word gets back to a reviewer by way of a log or email from a concerned cacher, the cache is going to be archived lickety-split. A point in favor of hiding caches that are away from view of security folks.

Re: It's My Park Day

... curious, do you know where in Yonkers they are opening? There's an REI next to the tutoring place in Eastchester I work at P/T (and they are undergoing an expansion that will double the size of that store) and I noticed they do have the Groundspeak GPS and books on geocaching there. They also ...

Re: OCATT Series

I'm not going to grab any of the OCATTs (unless I'm nearby/unless it's mine) until they're all published. Then I want to see how many I can get in one day :)

Re: May 29 - First Boat Out (GC2R4FY)

... who seems to relish in their secret identity. I think the problem he was pointing out was that this event has an odd balance... it CAN'T be about going to get the Gov's Island cache, because that's against the rules. It also seems it can't be about just a boat ride and an island tour because there's ...

Re: WWFM VIII is back on June 4, 2011

... Anyway, much as I'd love to take that opportunity to do one (and host my first event), I am probably going to have to back out. I am now doing an occasional 2nd p/t job that often includes weekends, as I noted in another post, not a lot, but just enough ...

free day in NYC tomorrow (Sunday)
I'm thinking of going to Prospect Park again where I have several DNF's to fix.
What I want to know is, IS THE SNOW GONE YET?
Anyone been there in the past couple of days?

... and it is a lot of fun. This spring, I'm running / hosting the NYC edition of the event. We've been working really hard on it and I think it's going to be VERY awesome. A few of the details haven't been finalized - but the date HAS. It's April 30th, here in New York. Historically, New York ...
