A NEW NY ADMIN??

... for a clarification. I said that I have run a couple of these before (all approved) and I gave an example of another one http://coord.info/GC2DN5B being held about the same time (although it's not in NY) I can understand the logic and I asked for a clarification on policy...it's just the way that ...

skeetsurfer = reviewer?

Can any of our New Jersey friends shed light on the new caches being published by skeetsurfer in North Jersey? I've never seen his (her?) name before and didn't know if this was the new reviewer for the area, or just covering for vacation, or what.

Re: Have you been secretly observed by another cacher?

... the webcam. Can I log it?" I'm really not much of a hard-butt when it comes to logging my caches. A couple of mine are in constant danger of being muggled, so if a concerned cacher visiting from a foreign country said that they saw the container and could have grabbed it but decided not to ...

I offered Autorita to email the cachers with the pics and say they were observed being suspicious in the area and have some fun with them :evil: but he thought it would be too mean (no fun!!). LOL I see Autorita added me as co-owner ...

Re: Have you been secretly observed by another cacher?

... I have seen a few who were too shy or maybe didn't realize I was part of the inner circle of loons with a GPS. :lol: Sometimes, I do feel like I'm being watched - not necessarily by cachers. Certain types of caches just lend themselves to that...

Where hath the coins gone?

... over 13,600 miles on it. (TB2ZND3) I was wondering where the other coins that we released have wound up and if they are still moving (rather than being held in someone's collection)

Re: Stupid Muggles!

... felt it was a 2 way street, they'd have brought back virtuals. Earthcaches came back because the supporting organization for them balked at it being wasted in Waymarking, not because it was a 2 way street. :evil:

Old Croton Aqueduct trail and caching

I thought maybe it being an aqueduct that carries water from a reservoir to NYC made it federal Dept. of Environment Protection property which means no caches (same reason ...

Re: Geocaching 101 x 2

... almost 20 years, basically the only reason we're still allowed there. So I could see them (up until now when of course they've asked you to come) being anal about having public caches there. Also, if you want me to post in the CT group forum about the Rye event please let me know.

Re: The Necessity of Signing the Log

... pen than have people think that they're living up to the rules by bleeding on my logbook. I do have a cache where there is some language about being required to sign the log, but it's actually intended to be a subtle hint to the hide rather than a strong-form declaration of the rules.
