Do you think Opencaching is actually bad for Groundspeak.

I'm posting this here because I have a feeling the community over at the official forums would blame me for starting an argument again. But in all honesty, is this really that big of a threat? Is there a real possibility of this thing actually beating out groundspeak?

Re: What about this page doesn't seem right?

... of the cache he found hasn't been on the site in years, he was very active in the early 2000s before we even started caching. That cache survives because it's a very long winding hike to the cache (I waited until my kids were a little older to find that one though the actual terrain is pretty ...

To obtain the starting coordinates, you needed to have found some of the other TMP Quest caches. ...

Re: How to contact a reviewer?

Re: Signing the logs

... day it's the CO's right to delete an online log if there is no signature in the logbook. I myself sign every logbook before I claim a find online, because that's how I've learned to play and it's just my M.O. now. But I've never figured out why I should *require* finders to sign the log. If it's ...

Re: Signing the logs

If I doubt the find because they didn't sign the log, but they can verify the find.. I'd let them get it. Unless, finding AND opening the cache is part of the requirement. There are caches were I've seen the container, but had trouble ...

Signing the logs

... who found my cache: Hi mmacgown, Just curious why you chose to delete the log of my find to your MAM's micro #61 - Old Bethpage cache? Was it because I didn't sign the log? If so, it surprises me that you'd want to remove my find without confirming that I actually found it or not. Is it really ...

Re: I Hope You Win The Lottery Cache

Shame on you for not logging your DNF's I don't think that's the case at all. I'm watching it but have little interest in searching for it, because I think it's less than 20% to actually be there. Even if it was, the coordinates point to the middle of the street and there are no hints. With ...

... money out of pocket the next time he buys something the group needs would be a worthwhile goal. Doing it through a company like Zazzle is nice because (unlike the coins) we don't have to order any inventory or shell anything out up front. They produce the items on demand, so if someone orders ...

Re: Have you been secretly observed by another cacher?

Re: Little people love geocaching too

... little ones like maybe 9 and under..... :) I know, I was just kidding. The only reason one particular member of my family is in to geocaching is because of the "stuff that I was supposed to bring back to them while they waited in the car".

Interested in finding an "unpublished" cache?

I just had a cache rejected because of the .1 mile (538 ft.) proximity rule when the reviewer determined that my cache was too close to the 2nd stage of a 4 part multi-cache (GCZRFT) How was I supposed to know? They only publish the coords ...

Re: Stupid Muggles!

Yes, it is a private company, but it is because of us they are in business, so it is a two way street. HMM, if they really felt it was a 2 way street, they'd have brought back virtuals. Earthcaches ...
