Re: Puzzles Anyone?

It's interesting, because I myself love puzzles and am often disappointed by puzzle caches that are basically multis with virtual stages. That to me is more like simple task completion than puzzle solving (plugging numbers into an ...

Not Signing the Logbook

I got an interesting email today. It was a little difficult to understand because although it was in English, it was written by a native French speaker. I would like to add that he did a far better job of writing in English than I ever would have in French. Nevertheless, ...

Re: old cache still alive!

Maybe "seE Y0u" is locked like this because it is available on TC? I think it's the other way around... Because groundspeak locked "seE YOu", splicingdan subsequently listed it on TC. At least, that's the way the logs and forum ...

Re: Metro NY Icon

... cache page? Or is it more elaborate requireing use of brackets and stuff? :-?? I know I fail at this stuff. L-) Nah, the only reason I know it is because I bought an HTML for Dummies book a few years ago so I could post a book that one of the Munchkins wrote online. Here's what you'll need to ...

Graveyard Caches

... bridge caches, two with proximity issues, and the other being a cache submitted with a fraudulent ID. I don't know if this sixth one was retracted because it was a cemetery cache or if that's coincidental and it was actually retracted for a different reason. (For those unfamiliar, a retraction ...

Re: Ever hear of "Meet Up" -- April 5 3 pm

Interesting... It looks like a sort of young outdoorsy singles group. At least the organizer for this particular group has to know about geocaching because it looks like they search for actual caches (Down the Rabbit Hole, Bow Cache and Lakeside View last September, and many of the East Village ...

Re: Announcing..... Swing For The Seats!

Yeah... We seem to have trouble even listing events at buffets that charge $6 a plate, because that's viewed as forcing people to pay $6 to attend.

Hope the Ohio event is awesome! I'd love it if it was close!

Re: The War of Light is on!

I'll chip in a different perspective. In this particular case I was close to zero percent to get any FTFs on the series regardless, because my days of rushing to get the car out for something "off the island" are pretty much behind me. If it had been me, I'd've published them a ...

Re: I Hope You Win The Lottery Cache

Shame on you for not logging your DNF's I don't think that's the case at all. I'm watching it but have little interest in searching for it, because I think it's less than 20% to actually be there. Even if it was, the coordinates point to the middle of the street and there are no hints. With ...
