Re: Prep Time

... stick in the woods to make the walking a little easier but, sure, I could always smack something with it. I have never really felt in danger while geocaching (yet). Hopefully, it will stay that way.

Re: Little people love geocaching too

... The only reason one particular member of my family is in to geocaching is because of the "stuff that I was supposed to bring back to them while they waited in the car".

Re: EV 11 Serenity (GCYB09) + East Village Garden Tour (GCZHHH)

EVF has been MIA for a while. I've actually discussed this with another cacher in private. He hasn't responded to (through GC) emails about one of his hides that I sent. He hasn't checked on Baseball Burlesque, or Serenity, and he hasn't ...

Re: Conflicts with Hidden Stages

... local family member would care for it. No maintenance, now it's dissappeared, not clear what will happen. That cache has needed archiving for a while now. It was in the same predicament that currently plagues it when I found it a year ago.

Re: The Ubercache Video Logbook

Hey! My long lost first FTF post!! I found that cache at like 6:30 am or something while my BF was marathon training elsewhere in the park. Ah.. good times! The Uber-Coin still hangs on my wall. Pretty good quality video for that unit. (Aside from the coat of fog ...

Guideline Updates

... by editing the text then contact a reviewer to change the cache type, if appropriate. Now... personally I had thought that ALRs had been banned a while back, but I guess not.

Re: Your neighborhood in 1924

... the correct spot. It could of course just as easily be the ruins of the Girls Home. My evidence for the Girls Home is this photo , which I found while trying to track down more info on the Straus's. It looks to me that the area on the west side of the building, near the middle would be the area ...

... and she was on foot the whole time... people had plenty of time to get to them before her, or hit the ones at the north end of the island while she was at the south... don't hate just because you didn't get out of bed in time.

Re: I Hope You Win The Lottery Cache

... This cache was intentionally edited and re-edited to defeat the guidelines so I'm archiving and locking it. Trust is a very fragile thing and while its easy to obtain once lost its hard to recover. Boy this cache had a LOT going wrong with it...

Re: How to contact a reviewer?

... When you get pulled out of the queue and then alter your listing you move to the back of the queue when you resubmit so it might take a little while depending on what else has been submitted.

Re: Geocaching Attribute Symbols

They are common icons. Google "Recreation Icons" and you'll see lots of sets that include similar images, I think parks have been using these for a while now, kind of like how every website and browser uses the same set of icons for home, rss, mail, shopping cart, search etc.

While we're in the city, I know we'd love to catch a few caches, and I was hoping y'all could recommend some. Since we're only going to be there a short ...
