Pier 15

... logs from cachers that hail from all over the world. Unfortunately, it's unfair to future finders for me to be the only owner at times like these, when the bison tube container needs to be replaced but I won't be back in town for a few months. For now I have temporarily disabled the listing, ...

2011 Metro New York Geocaching awards!

... are no losers here - this sort of awards balloting is an inexact exercise (not everyone found every cache on the list, not everyone who did find these caches voted, and so on). But what follows is a fantastic list of caches that gave our members memorable thrills (plus several series that add ...

Cachers leaving TB's OUTSIDE of micro caches

... take on their travels even though it never left their possession. I have heard of people dipping their own TB's to keep track of their travels but these TB's don't even belong to them! I guess I get frustrated because the poor people who own these TB's are losing their TB's and I can only imagine ...

Re: Clever Cache Ideas

1. As ruthny pointed out, I'm glad people are still actively using these boards. I've resisted facebook for a long time (and still am), thus am ignorant to what goes on there. Unfortunately, as it sounds rather an active place.... 2. I'd have to say I disagree ...

Re: With a heavy heart.....

Hi, it's been a LONG time since I've been on here (mainly because it appears almost everyone has ditched these forums for the Facebook page). I remember seeing the log that we just missed each other at a cache on the Riverdale/Yonkers border. Anyway, while I think Gerkmax would ...

Clever Cache Ideas

... other folks to post interesting ones they came across as well (though I'll bet there is likely already a Groundspeak forum topic in place along these lines).
