Re: TB Thieving Stats/Tributes

Interesting site: http://www.tb-rescue.com/ I wonder if something like this has a remotely reasonable success rate. I'd guess that someone who showed up as requested would more likely than not find nada. But it would be pretty cool when it did work out. ...

... is really bad) and didnt find it. We tried after them and after we didnt find it the way we expected I looked a little underneath it and saw something in the dirt. Clever Cache Ideas

... as well (though I'll bet there is likely already a Groundspeak forum topic in place along these lines). The first one I'll list here deals with something near and dear to a good # of cachers: the elusive FTF. This cache idea/series throws a wrinkle in things in the form of a 'curse': GC1K6MX ...

www.i-love-gc.com ?

I'm not sure where this question fits in on the forum, I thought this would be the best place, so sorry if I'm reposting something that has already been discussed. (I'm new to this forum!) I recently found a cache that contained a white button with "I (heart) GC" in bold ...

Worst Container Thread

... so the thread doesn't fizzle out. To start out, I'll propose the first: 1. A ziploc bag in the woods on the forest ground (typically covered with something such as sticks or a rock) Forested ziploc bag.jpg Not only does the log quickly become unsignable, but usually hosts a whole range of nasty ...

Re: Cool way to learn about geocahces?

that certainly is a great cache in the video! some people think that - as it's a complete spoiler - videos are bad for the game. certainly something like this should only be put up with the permission of the cache owner (CO). personally i think they are a fun way to learn about the game. videos ...

Re: NYC "seed caching"?

(e.g., when precisely something or another is sufficiently being 'promoted' to the point of fault). But given that geocaching is is largely grassroots/volunteer driven (right?), ...

Re: "Congratulations" tweets

What angle do they have for retweeting them? Do they have ads in their feeds or something to draw you in once you check to see who has retweeted it? Why do it?
