I really appreciate the nomination. I'm really proud. To be mentioned in this amazing company is quite surreal.

Re: Goodbye to mblatch, bouledogue and dolemite9! August 2n

Thanks Brett! Bummer I can't be there! Thanks again to all in the NYC area for all the great caching. Really is a fantastic community and am very grateful to have had a chance to be there for a slice of it. And if anyone is interested in adopting some caches....

... email. Luckily the next cacher found everything and made things right: Hmm.. because of the 'new' hide by the last cacher the hint wasnt really correct anymore and we saw 2 groups of geocachers who where focussed on that hint (because the reception is really bad) and didnt find it. Re: Best Log Thread

... and has only hidden this one, also wonder if (being the early days of geocaching) if it was all a prank and the admins didn't think about if there really was a cache placed there (I did notice that the CO was on the gc.com site earlier this year though).

Re: Clever Cache Ideas

... of new caches should not be published. As an FTF hound I thought the idea was clever, but I guess I can see where gspeak is coming from. A really good example is the "Little Green Men" series that started in CT (there are a few in Westchester County). While there's still some ...

Re: Cool way to learn about geocahces?

It's a lot like the videos out there for Angry Birds levels......some say it's a cheater/spoiler, others say that many would give up and lose interest without them. So it's really hard to say......I for one am glad they're out there, even if I try to avoid relying on them.

Re: Possible version of the "High Line" in Queens to come?

Nice! I think that would be awesome. They did a really great job in lower Manhattan, so it would be pretty cool to see something similar in Queens. I was #1009 signing the petition....
