A Chatty cache goes to New York

... the time we get to New York we will have visited Portland, Seattle, Vancouver, Banff, Calgary & Edmonton, and many more places in between. We couldn't miss this opportunity to re-visit New York, first time here as cachers though, and spend some time doing: GC17MX1- Bridges & Arches Cache ...

Re: Cachers leaving TB's OUTSIDE of micro caches

... so this was my best option. The gardeners can easily find your cache anyway. Carry on... I guess the fact that 2 groups of cachers after him could not find it due to him moving it (as indicated in the log after his) wouldn't concern him. I also noticed that he just dropped off a TB that he ...

Re: Cachers leaving TB's OUTSIDE of micro caches

... to keep TBs moving but I agree that this is not a sound practice as it exposes both the cache and the TBs to plunder. I don't see why the TBs could not be put back in the pocket for the next caching trip. We have stopped planting TBs as they disappear at an alarming rate (except in eastern ...

Cachers leaving TB's OUTSIDE of micro caches

... ago I received this log on another of my micro caches in NYC: Found it! King of Geocaching Geocoin dropped off. TFTC There is no way this coin could have fit in my bison tube! I had to mark it missing and then the TB owner said that the coin was in the hands of the security guard on the property ...

Re: Magellan Explorist GC

wow almost a year and still none has replied.

I am currently looking at gps units and this one is catching my eye and now that you have had it for a year think you could share your views/thoughts about it. It would be kinda funny because you would be answering your own question :ugeek:

Re: Security alert bulletin

... that. I thought I had found all of the midtown caches (POPS or otherwise) and I don't recognize those photos at all. They do look like they could be from a POPS-like space, the second photo in particular. But I still can't figure out which cache it would be. Anyone else have an idea?

Re: Unusual request from out of state cacher

I have a cache on Deer Island right outside Boston (GC3198N) that just got a recent log from a cacher from North Vernon, IN. Could it be the same one? If so, they were on Day 99 of their streak yesterday. That means today is going to be their big day!!

Re: FizzyCalc for Mac

I've been using it for a few months. If only there were GSAK for Mac I could get rid of the Netbook.

Thanks!
