Re: With a heavy heart.....

Hi, it's been a LONG time since I've been on here (mainly because it appears almost everyone has ditched these forums for the Facebook page). I remember seeing the log that we just missed each other at a cache on the Riverdale/Yonkers border. Anyway, ...

Re: Magellan Explorist GC

wow almost a year and still none has replied.

I am currently looking at gps units and this one is catching my eye and now that you have had it for a year think you could share your views/thoughts about it. It would be kinda funny because you would be answering your own question :ugeek:

Re: NYC "seed caching"?

... I perceive as their logic; it would likely be a bad idea to have crummy caches (i.e., geotrash) either being submitted or even published simply because someone picked one up from a 'seed'. It seems interesting to me though as to what precisely constitutes an 'agenda'. Obviously there is some ...

GLEE BLAA

Re: Westside caching advice...

... probably prefer to be in Riverside Park itself for most of your walk/hike. Access between the bike/running path and Riverside isn't continuous, because Hwy 9A is between the two for most of the time. The access points between the two aren't as regular as you'd think - I know there's one at 72nd, ...

Re: Challenges - Thoughts?

I finally had time to read up on challenges. What kinda crap is this? And why does it count toward the total? I like the Virtuals and Earth caches because they bring you to interesting and unusual locations where a physical container may not be feasible. You get to learn something historic or geological, ...

Re: Challenges - Thoughts?

... I look at the logs for Snug as a Bug, now instead of 4/15/2011 it says something like "about four months ago". Why? I can only imagine because that's how Twitter and Facebook do it? And so... what the heck? Oh, I don't like THAT at all. You can see the date if you click through, but ...
