Re: Interested in finding an "unpublished" cache?

Actually I did look for it about 2 weeks ago and it was a DNF for me but I didn't post it in the log. I planned to go back and look again but my plans went awry. So I emailed the owner and asked her to check its status. I thought it was only 5.5 months since anyone posted anything about ...

Prep Time

... a stick when in the woods, sometimes I'm ready to swing my GPSr. One cacher told me when she feels threatened, she dials 9-1 and is ready to hit 1 again, another carries pepper spray in hand, while another walks with a hiking stick even when in the city. My question is... What do you take with ...

Re: Stupid Muggles!

... his post. He certainly would fit the bill.... :geek: Also, I would think "NYC Reviewer" would not only be NYC, but NYC and Long Island (again John has familiarity), otherwise you have "disjointed geography" for NY Admin (though you did have that when Pofe handled both NJ and ...

Geocaching 101 x 2

I've been approached by three different groups to set up Geocaching 101 workshops again. The first is Saturday October 16 in Forest Park as a part of an Orienteering event. That one is easy as it's around the corner and I know the folks running it. It will probably ...

... at "more logs" since there's been 5 finders since then and it doesn't show. But glad to hear you're going to wear better clothes and try again (I think it's still there but if you still don't find it let me know and I'll check.....every time we thought it was "gone" it somehow ...

Re: A nice 100th Cache

Well, I had 99 finds and teamed up with ruthny to find the Wherigo. Unfortunately, there was an error on the cartridge, which made it impossible to complete. I'm going to email the CO and probably try again.

Hopefully as we get toward the summer and some of their stuff lets up we'll do more caching again and go to an event (been meaning to trek to Tri-State the last couple of years and may finally do so, thanks Bonick for noting all the events ...

Re: Announcing... Dastardly Pathtags!

... out really great. Special thanks to Ruth for not killing me when we realized she would be out of town for the event! Can't wait to do it again in the fall. Did everyone who came get their tags? I know I almost didn't get them into the hands of a couple of people, so I'm wondering if there ...

Wow...

... right? Then he turns around and renews my premium subscription to gc.com to make amends. Go ahead and reread that last part. I'll type it slowly again so it'll sink in. He renewed my subscription over some dumb geocoin. I was floored by this and actually feel a little bad about it but talk about ...

Do you ask the booth attendant to buzz the handicapped door or just lift the bike through the turnstile? Definitely get yourself buzzed through ...
