Goodbye NYC!

Hi guys, it's about time I post in here. I'm moving to DC in a couple of weeks for a new job. It's been my pleasure to be involved with MetroGC and meet many locals cachers. I'll certainly be back to visit, but it's time to say goodbye. Email me via gc.com any time. :)

Re: Cotton Malone? Reviewer?

HMM, is it possible that "NY Admin" has been "permanently replaced" in the downstate region by "Lord Stirling"? Oh please, oh please, oh please..... ;)

Re: Summer on the Hudson

These stories always make me wonder if the cachers think that noone would check their bogus logs. If you are going to lie about the finds, at least make it realistic. Perhaps stick to easy micros, along the same road, within a short distance of each other. Otherwise you are either a total newbie or ...

Re: Challenges - Thoughts?

I finally had time to read up on challenges. What kinda crap is this? And why does it count toward the total? I like the Virtuals and Earth caches because they bring you to interesting and unusual locations where a physical container may not be feasible. You get to learn something historic or geolog...

Re: July 31- Let's Go Tubing! (GC2Z4FB)

Brett, get your daughter to come. All the geo-kids who have heard about this event can't wait to attend.

It's a pretty quiet portion of the Delaware with one or two baby rapids.

August 13 - Alley Pond CITO (GC2ZDXE)

Jeremy is hosting a CITO at the Alley Pond Environmental Center in Queens.

It's a beautiful park that needs a little help to stay that way. Bring your work gloves and get the CITO icon for participating.

Re: Camping Equipment?

I have a tub full of camping gear, but it's all for a car campout - too heavy for backpacking.

We'll expect a full report when you come back. :P

Re: Washington APE Cache archived

This is all very sad. I was planning to go to Seattle for a work conference in the near future and the APE cache was definitely on the list. No mas.

@ Mbomber33 - I had to google "ring and run". I had no clue what you were talking about.

Re: Wherigo App for iPhone!

Maybe they can outsource the very sad Wherigo website. It could definitely use some sprucing up.

Re: June 18/19 - Geo What? (GC2N646)

Some cachers being loud at night and disturbing other campers. The park people had to kick someone out and after that geocaching was unofficially blacklisted.
